Wally Fedun Arena in Vegreville to Re-open

At a special meeting held on September 8 town council voted to re-open the Wally Fedun Arena effective September 10.
The arena will have numerous safety measures in place and will only be available for organized play. No public opportunities will be offered at this time.
Some of the safety measures include:
- Mandatory physical distancing in all common areas
- Daily screening and self-checks
- Spectators will be limited to 100 people or 25% of the Arena’s capacity; and
- A three-strike system for non-compliance
Everyone participating in organized play will have to sign a waiver document. Each user group is responsible for tracking participants for each usage for the purpose of contact tracing in the event of an outbreak.
