Tofield RCMP Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Collision

Tofield, Alta. – This morning at approximately 6 a.m., Tofield RCMP responded to a report of a pedestrian and vehicle collision on Highway 14 and Township Road 502 just east of Tofield.
Preliminary investigation revealed two vehicles that were westbound on Highway 14 collided with a pedestrian who was walking in the same direction. The 53-year-old male pedestrian from Edmonton was pronounced deceased at the scene. The drivers of both vehicles were not injured.
Tofield RCMP along with a RCMP Collision analyst continue to investigate. The name of the deceased will not be released.
