Tofield RCMP Investigate Fatal Collision

Tofield, Alta. – On Nov. 4, 2020 at approximately 11:00 a.m., Tofield RCMP responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway 834 just east of Tofield.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that a SUV was heading southbound on Highway 834 and failed to stop at an intersection and a collision occurred with a westbound semi-tractor that was driving on Highway 14.
The 59-year-old male driver of the SUV from Camrose, Alberta was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the semi-tractor was not injured.
Tofield RCMP along with a RCMP Collision Analyst continue to investigate. The name of the deceased will not be released.
