Make Some Noise!

Grab your jingle bells, noise makers, and pots and pans it’s almost time to make some noise and spread some Christmas cheer.
That’s the holiday message from the Town of Smoky Lake which is encouraging all of its residents go outside and onto their doorsteps on Christmas Eve at 6 pm and on Christmas Day at 2 pm to celebrate the festive season.
The request has been circulating on a number of different Facebook sites in various communities and the town is jumping on the Christmas bandwagon so to speak.
“Go outside onto your doorstep and make some noise to spread the Christmas spirit! It has been a hard year and many may be feeling a bit alone or distance this holiday season. So let’s come together as a community and spread Christmas joy! We will end 2020 as a community with a bit of magic, hope, and community spirit,” said Office/Legislative Services Clerk Katilynn Makowichuk.
