Not Normal???
By Rachel Farr
The average month snow fall in Vegreville for October is 5 cm, we got 0. The average month snow fall in Vegreville for November is 10 cm, so far 0. This year so far has been very odd. Usually we see our first flakes fall from the sky late September. Not that the snow that falls that early stays, but usually we see something. October also had no snow this year. Local children went trick or treating in some pretty warm temperatures. So now we are into November and still no snow. Not that I am really complaining. Here are some stats from the Farmers Almanac. I couldn’t find Vegreville but was able to pull upEdmonton.

Precipitation will be near or a bit below normal, while snowfall will be above normal. The heaviest snowfalls will occur in late December, early to mid-January, late January, and mid-March. April and May will be much cooler than normal, with slightly below-normal precipitation. Snowfall will be above normal, with late-season snowfalls in mid- and late April. Summer rainfall will be near normal, with slightly above-normal temperatures, on average. The hottest temperatures will occur in early to mid-July, early to mid-August, and late August. September and October will be warmer and slightly wetter than normal.Rumor says it is suppose to be the coldest winter in a long time. Me, I rather have the snow and average temperatures. Its hard for me to get into the Christmas spirit without the white stuff laying on the ground. Atleast I don’t have to shovel my driveway this year, see living on a farm has lots of benefits.
Well I’m not sure if the Farmers almanac is going to be accurate or not, all I can predict for weather is “Weather forecast for tonight: dark.” Other than that we just have to wake up every morning and look out our windows.

Would like to see pics of remembrance day parade/ceremony, thanks
